| CVE-2025-38330 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-18 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: cs_dsp: Fix OOB memory read access in KUnit test (ctl cache) KASAN reported out of bounds access - cs_dsp_ctl_cache_init_multiple_offsets(). The code uses mock_coeff_template.length_bytes (4 bytes) for register value allocations. But later, this length is set to 8 bytes which causes test code failures. As fix, just remove the lenght override, keeping the original value 4 for all operations. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eth: fbnic: avoid double free when failing to DMA-map FW msg The semantics are that caller of fbnic_mbx_map_msg() retains the ownership of the message on error. All existing callers dutifully free the page. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38351 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86/hyper-v: Skip non-canonical addresses during PV TLB flush In KVM guests with Hyper-V hypercalls enabled, the hypercalls HVCALL_FLUSH_VIRTUAL_ADDRESS_LIST and HVCALL_FLUSH_VIRTUAL_ADDRESS_LIST_EX allow a guest to request invalidation of portions of a virtual TLB. For this, the hypercall parameter includes a list of GVAs that are supposed to be invalidated. However, when non-canonical GVAs are passed, there is currently no filtering in place and they are eventually passed to checked invocations of INVVPID on Intel / INVLPGA on AMD. While AMD's INVLPGA silently ignores non-canonical addresses (effectively a no-op), Intel's INVVPID explicitly signals VM-Fail and ultimately triggers the WARN_ONCE in invvpid_error(): invvpid failed: ext=0x0 vpid=1 gva=0xaaaaaaaaaaaaa000 WARNING: CPU: 6 PID: 326 at arch/x86/kvm/vmx/vmx.c:482 invvpid_error+0x91/0xa0 [kvm_intel] Modules linked in: kvm_intel kvm 9pnet_virtio irqbypass fuse CPU: 6 UID: 0 PID: 326 Comm: kvm-vm Not tainted 6.15.0 #14 PREEMPT(voluntary) RIP: 0010:invvpid_error+0x91/0xa0 [kvm_intel] Call Trace: vmx_flush_tlb_gva+0x320/0x490 [kvm_intel] kvm_hv_vcpu_flush_tlb+0x24f/0x4f0 [kvm] kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_run+0x3013/0x5810 [kvm] Hyper-V documents that invalid GVAs (those that are beyond a partition's GVA space) are to be ignored. While not completely clear whether this ruling also applies to non-canonical GVAs, it is likely fine to make that assumption, and manual testing on Azure confirms "real" Hyper-V interprets the specification in the same way. Skip non-canonical GVAs when processing the list of address to avoid tripping the INVVPID failure. Alternatively, KVM could filter out "bad" GVAs before inserting into the FIFO, but practically speaking the only downside of pushing validation to the final processing is that doing so is suboptimal for the guest, and no well-behaved guest will request TLB flushes for non-canonical addresses. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50138 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/qedr: Fix potential memory leak in __qedr_alloc_mr() __qedr_alloc_mr() allocates a memory chunk for "mr->info.pbl_table" with init_mr_info(). When rdma_alloc_tid() and rdma_register_tid() fail, "mr" is released while "mr->info.pbl_table" is not released, which will lead to a memory leak. We should release the "mr->info.pbl_table" with qedr_free_pbl() when error occurs to fix the memory leak. | ||||

| CVE-2022-50095 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-18 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-cpu-timers: Cleanup CPU timers before freeing them during exec Commit 55e8c8eb2c7b ("posix-cpu-timers: Store a reference to a pid not a task") started looking up tasks by PID when deleting a CPU timer. When a non-leader thread calls execve, it will switch PIDs with the leader process. Then, as it calls exit_itimers, posix_cpu_timer_del cannot find the task because the timer still points out to the old PID. That means that armed timers won't be disarmed, that is, they won't be removed from the timerqueue_list. exit_itimers will still release their memory, and when that list is later processed, it leads to a use-after-free. Clean up the timers from the de-threaded task before freeing them. This prevents a reported use-after-free. | ||||

Under certain conditions (for example, when ACPI NUMA is disabled via command line), pxm_to_node() can return %NUMA_NO_NODE (-1). It is valid 'magic' number of NUMA node, but not valid bit number to use in bitops. node_online() eventually descends to test_bit() without checking for the input, assuming it's on caller side (which might be good for perf-critical tasks). There, -1 becomes %ULONG_MAX which leads to an insane array index when calculating bit position in memory. For now, add an explicit check for @node being not %NUMA_NO_NODE before calling test_bit(). The actual logics didn't change here at all. [0] https://github.com/norov/linux/commit/0e862838f290147ea9c16db852d8d494b552d38d

Also, we can reproduce the same symptom with an error injected cow_file_range() setup. The hang occurs when cow_file_range() fails in the middle of allocation. cow_file_range() called from do_allocation_zoned() can split the give region ([start, end]) for allocation depending on current block group usages. When btrfs can allocate bytes for one part of the split regions but fails for the other region (e.g. because of -ENOSPC), we return the error leaving the pages in the succeeded regions locked. Technically, this occurs only when @unlock == 0. Otherwise, we unlock the pages in an allocated region after creating an ordered extent. Considering the callers of cow_file_range(unlock=0) won't write out the pages, we can unlock the pages on error exit from cow_file_range(). So, we can ensure all the pages except @locked_page are unlocked on error case. In summary, cow_file_range now behaves like this: - page_started == 1 (return value) - All the pages are unlocked. IO is started. - unlock == 1 - All the pages except @locked_page are unlocked in any case - unlock == 0 - On success, all the pages are locked for writing out them - On failure, all the pages except @locked_page are unlocked
| CVE-2022-50090 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-18 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: replace BTRFS_MAX_EXTENT_SIZE with fs_info->max_extent_size On zoned filesystem, data write out is limited by max_zone_append_size, and a large ordered extent is split according the size of a bio. OTOH, the number of extents to be written is calculated using BTRFS_MAX_EXTENT_SIZE, and that estimated number is used to reserve the metadata bytes to update and/or create the metadata items. The metadata reservation is done at e.g, btrfs_buffered_write() and then released according to the estimation changes. Thus, if the number of extent increases massively, the reserved metadata can run out. The increase of the number of extents easily occurs on zoned filesystem if BTRFS_MAX_EXTENT_SIZE > max_zone_append_size. And, it causes the following warning on a small RAM environment with disabling metadata over-commit (in the following patch). | CVE-2025-34192 | 4 Apple, Linux, Printerlogic and 1 more | 6 Macos, Linux Kernel, Vasion Print and 3 more | 2025-11-17 | 9.8 Critical |
| Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host versions prior to 22.0.893 and Application versions prior to 20.0.2140 (macOS/Linux client deployments) are built against OpenSSL 1.0.2h-fips (released May 2016), which has been end-of-life since 2019 and is no longer supported by the OpenSSL project. Continued use of this outdated cryptographic library exposes deployments to known vulnerabilities that are no longer patched, weakening the overall security posture. Affected daemons may emit deprecation warnings and rely on cryptographic components with unresolved security flaws, potentially enabling attackers to exploit weaknesses in TLS/SSL processing or cryptographic operations. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2023-021 — Out-of-Date OpenSSL Library. | ||||
| CVE-2025-34189 | 4 Apple, Linux, Printerlogic and 1 more | 6 Macos, Linux Kernel, Vasion Print and 3 more | 2025-11-17 | 7.8 High |
| Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host versions prior to 1.0.735 and Application versions prior to 20.0.1330 (macOS/Linux client deployments) contain a vulnerability in the local inter-process communication (IPC) mechanism. The software stores IPC request and response files inside /opt/PrinterInstallerClient/tmp with world-readable and world-writable permissions. Any local user can craft malicious request files that are processed by privileged daemons, leading to unauthorized actions being executed in other user sessions. This breaks user session isolation, potentially allowing local attackers to hijack sessions, perform unintended actions in the context of other users, and impact system integrity and availability. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2022-004 — Client Inter-process Security. | ||||
| CVE-2025-34188 | 4 Apple, Linux, Printerlogic and 1 more | 6 Macos, Linux Kernel, Vasion Print and 3 more | 2025-11-17 | 7.8 High |
| Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host versions prior to 1.0.735 and Application prior to 20.0.1330 (macOS/Linux client deployments) contain a vulnerability in the local logging mechanism. Authentication session tokens, including PHPSESSID, XSRF-TOKEN, and laravel_session, are stored in cleartext within world-readable log files. Any local user with access to the machine can extract these session tokens and use them to authenticate remotely to the SaaS environment, bypassing normal login credentials, potentially leading to unauthorized system access and exposure of sensitive information. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2022-008 — Secrets Leaked in Logs. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50146 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-17 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: dwc: Deallocate EPC memory on dw_pcie_ep_init() errors If dw_pcie_ep_init() fails to perform any action after the EPC memory is initialized and the MSI memory region is allocated, the latter parts won't be undone thus causing a memory leak. Add a cleanup-on-error path to fix these leaks. [bhelgaas: commit log] | ||||
| CVE-2022-50147 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-17 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/mempolicy: fix get_nodes out of bound access When user specified more nodes than supported, get_nodes will access nmask array out of bounds. | ||||
