| CVE-2025-26624 | 2026-04-15 | N/A | ||
| Rufus is a utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives. A DLL hijacking vulnerability in Rufus 4.6.2208 and earlier versions allows an attacker loading and executing a malicious DLL with escalated privileges (since the executable has been granted higher privileges during the time of launch) due to the ability to inject a malicious `cfgmgr32.dll` in the same directory as the executable and have it side load automatically. This is fixed in commit `74dfa49`, which will be part of version 4.7. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as version 4.7 becomes available. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||

The manipulation leads to uncontrolled search path. Attacking locally is a requirement. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The vendor explains that a system must be breached before exploiting this issue. They are not planning on making any changes to address it.
| CVE-2024-32019 | 1 Netdata | 1 Netdata | 2026-04-15 | 8.8 High |
| Netdata is an open source observability tool. In affected versions the `ndsudo` tool shipped with affected versions of the Netdata Agent allows an attacker to run arbitrary programs with root permissions. The `ndsudo` tool is packaged as a `root`-owned executable with the SUID bit set. It only runs a restricted set of external commands, but its search paths are supplied by the `PATH` environment variable. This allows an attacker to control where `ndsudo` looks for these commands, which may be a path the attacker has write access to. This may lead to local privilege escalation. This vulnerability has been addressed in versions 1.45.3 and 1.45.2-169. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2024-25103 | 1 Cdac | 1 Appsamvid Software | 2026-04-15 | 6.3 Medium |
| This vulnerability exists in AppSamvid software due to the usage of vulnerable and outdated components. An attacker with local administrative privileges could exploit this by placing malicious DLLs on the targeted system. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the targeted system. | ||||
| CVE-2024-14012 | 2 Microsoft, Revenera | 2 Windows, Installshield | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| Potential privilege escalation issue in Revenera InstallShield version 2023 R1 running a renamed Setup.exe on Windows. When a local administrator executes a renamed Setup.exe, the MPR.dll may get loaded from an insecure location and can result in a privilege escalation. The issue has been fixed in versions 2023 R2 and later. | ||||
| CVE-2024-13524 | 2026-04-15 | 4.5 Medium | ||
| A vulnerability has been found in obsproject OBS Studio up to 30.0.2 on Windows and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality. The manipulation leads to untrusted search path. The attack needs to be approached locally. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The vendor disagrees that this issue is "something worth reporting, as every attack surface requires privileged access/user compromise". | ||||
| CVE-2024-58250 | 2026-04-15 | 9.3 Critical | ||
| The passprompt plugin in pppd in ppp before 2.5.2 mishandles privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2025-9267 | 2 Microsoft, Seagate | 2 Windows, Toolkit | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In Seagate Toolkit on Windows a vulnerability exists in the Toolkit Installer prior to versions 2.35.0.6 where it attempts to load DLLs from the current working directory without validating their origin or integrity. This behavior can be exploited by placing a malicious DLL in the same directory as the installer executable, leading to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running the installer. The issue stems from the use of insecure DLL loading practices, such as relying on relative paths or failing to specify fully qualified paths when invoking system libraries. | ||||
| CVE-2024-21923 | 1 Amd | 1 Storemi | 2026-04-15 | 7.3 High |
| Incorrect default permissions in AMD StoreMI™ could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2024-21922 | 1 Amd | 1 Storemi | 2026-04-15 | 7.3 High |
| A DLL hijacking vulnerability in AMD StoreMI™ could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. | ||||

The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
| CVE-2025-43079 | 3 Linux, Qualys, Qualys Inc | 4 Linux, Cloud Agent, Cloud Agent For Linux and 1 more | 2026-04-15 | 6.3 Medium |
| The Qualys Cloud Agent included a bundled uninstall script (qagent_uninstall.sh), specific to Mac and Linux supported versions that invoked multiple system commands without using absolute paths and without sanitizing the $PATH environment. If the uninstall script is executed with elevated privileges (e.g., via sudo) in an environment where $PATH has been manipulated, an attacker with root/sudo privileges could cause malicious executables to be run in place of the intended system binaries. This behavior can be leveraged for local privilege escalation and arbitrary command execution under elevated privileges. | ||||
