| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/syncobj: Fix memory leak in drm_syncobj_find_fence()
Commit 18226ba52159 ("drm/syncobj: reject invalid flags in
drm_syncobj_find_fence") forgot to take into account the fact that
drm_syncobj_find() takes a reference to syncobj and returns early
without dropping the reference, leading to memory leaks.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/amdxdna: Fix leak when pinning ubuf pages
When pin_user_pages_fast() returns fewer pages than requested, the pages
that were successfully pinned are not released, leading to a leak.
Fix this by unpinning any partially pinned pages before returning failure. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/radeon: fix memory leak in radeon_ring_restore() on lock failure
radeon_ring_restore() takes ownership of the data buffer allocated by
radeon_ring_backup(). The caller (radeon_gpu_reset()) only frees it in
the non-restore branch; in the restore branch it relies on
radeon_ring_restore() to free it.
If radeon_ring_lock() fails, the function returned early without calling
kvfree(data), leaking the ring backup buffer on every GPU reset that
fails at the lock stage. During repeated GPU resets this causes
cumulative kernel memory exhaustion.
Free data before returning the error. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
can: etas_es58x: es58x_read_bulk_callback(): fix RX buffer leak on URB resubmit failure
es58x_read_bulk_callback() resubmits the RX URB after processing a received
packet. If the resubmit succeeds, the URB remains anchored and will be
handled by the normal RX path or by teardown.
However, if usb_submit_urb() fails, the callback unanchors the URB and then
returns directly. This skips the existing free_urb path, so the coherent
transfer buffer allocated with usb_alloc_coherent() is not released.
Reuse the existing free_urb path after a resubmit failure so that the RX
coherent buffer is freed before leaving the callback. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: sxgbe: free TX rings on RX allocation failure
When RX descriptor ring allocation fails, init_dma_desc_rings() only
frees the partially allocated RX rings and returns. The TX rings that
were allocated earlier in the same function are leaked.
Rearrange error labels to clean up TX rings upon RX failures. |

| LangBot is a global IM bot platform designed for LLMs. In version 4.10.7 and earlier, any authenticated user can add or change an STDIO MCP server configuration without an adequate authorization boundary. In src/langbot/pkg/provider/tools/loaders/mcp.py, StdioServerParameters accepts the configured command and arguments and starts a server-side subprocess on the LangBot server. An attacker who can sign up or obtain an account can use the Extensions MCP configuration to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the LangBot service, enabling data disclosure, modification, and service disruption. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. From 1.19.0 until 1.23.0, a crafted HEIF sequence accepted by heif_context_read_from_memory() with the msf1 sequence brand can cause unbounded heap allocation. In libheif/sequences/seq_boxes.cc, Box_stsz::parse() applies max_sequence_frames only to variable-size samples, so fixed-size mode accepts an attacker-controlled sample_count without a bound. In libheif/sequences/track.cc, Track::load() also adds current_sample_idx and samples_per_chunk in 32-bit arithmetic, allowing the consistency check to be bypassed by wraparound. The resulting values reach the Chunk::Chunk() allocation path, which can consume gigabytes of memory and crash or stall the process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.0. |

Attackers with repository write access can craft malicious Renovate configuration files to execute arbitrary commands on the machine running Renovate. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin an unbounded number of HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via connection-level flow control. When a stream's response body outruns the HTTP/2 connection-level send window (default 65,535 bytes, shared across all streams on the connection), Bandit.HTTP2.Connection queues the remaining bytes and a reply closure in pending_sends and the stream process blocks forever inside a synchronous call to the connection process. Nothing bounds that wait and nothing purges the queue: a client RST_STREAM for the blocked stream is delivered to its mailbox but never read while it is stuck inside the call, so cancelling frees nothing, and periodic PING frames keep the transport-level read timeout from ever firing. The equivalent block on the stream-level send window is already bounded at 15 seconds; the connection-level path had no such bound.
Each stalled stream pins its process, Plug state, and any resource the Plug holds across the blocked write, such as a pooled upstream connection in a reverse-proxy Plug. The attacker chooses any endpoint whose response exceeds the connection window (common for most non-trivial payloads), grants a generous stream-level window so only the connection window limits it, and keeps the connection alive with periodic PINGs; the primitive is repeatable across streams and connections at the cost of one idle socket each.
This issue affects bandit: from 0.3.4 before 1.12.5. |
| BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Prior to 0.31.1, BuildKit read attacker-controlled /etc/passwd and /etc/group files without an upper bound while resolving a username to a user identifier or group identifier in executor/oci/user.go and solver/llbsolver/ops/user_linux.go. A malicious base image or build could provide oversized files that exhausted memory during user resolution and caused out-of-memory termination of the buildkitd process. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.1. |

| Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. From version 5.6.3 to before version 5.8.1, devalue.parse could, due to quirks in some JavaScript engines, be convinced to allocate much more memory than was needed when deserializing sparse arrays, leading to excessive memory consumption. This issue has been patched in version 5.8.1. |
| jsoup through 1.23.2, fixed in commit 862ba2f, contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in XmlTreeBuilder that allows remote attackers to exhaust JVM heap memory by supplying a deeply nested XML document with uniquely-namespaced elements. The builder copies the entire inherited namespace map on every start element, causing quadratic time and memory complexity, which attackers can exploit to trigger an OutOfMemoryError and terminate the application. |
| Libevent is an event notification library. From 2.2.0-alpha-dev until 2.2.2-alpha, the libevent WebSocket server in ws.c accumulates fragmented frames in evws->incomplete_frames without enforcing a total message-size limit. An unauthenticated remote client can repeatedly send fragmented WebSocket frames below WS_MAX_RECV_FRAME_SZ with FIN=0, causing the evbuffer to grow without bound until the process or host exhausts memory. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.2-alpha. |

| aiosmtplib is an asynchronous SMTP client for use with asyncio. Prior to 5.1.1, SMTP.mail(), SMTP.rcpt(), SMTP.vrfy(), and SMTP.expn() send caller-supplied addresses without rejecting embedded CR or LF bytes. Data after the line break is framed as additional standalone SMTP command lines, allowing an attacker who influences an envelope sender or recipient to inject commands such as MAIL FROM, RCPT TO, RSET, DATA, or AUTH. SMTP.sendmail() and SMTP.send() without a Message object pass addresses through the affected methods, while SMTP.send_message() is not affected. Successful injection can desynchronize the command-response pipeline, hang the SMTP instance, or send an arbitrary message without requiring attacker control of the SMTP server. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.1. |
