CVE-2026-43074 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eventpoll: defer struct eventpoll free to RCU grace period In certain situations, ep_free() in eventpoll.c will kfree the epi->ep eventpoll struct while it still being used by another concurrent thread. Defer the kfree() to an RCU callback to prevent UAF.
CVE-2026-23172 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: wwan: t7xx: fix potential skb->frags overflow in RX path When receiving data in the DPMAIF RX path, the t7xx_dpmaif_set_frag_to_skb() function adds page fragments to an skb without checking if the number of fragments has exceeded MAX_SKB_FRAGS. This could lead to a buffer overflow in skb_shinfo(skb)->frags[] array, corrupting adjacent memory and potentially causing kernel crashes or other undefined behavior. This issue was identified through static code analysis by comparing with a similar vulnerability fixed in the mt76 driver commit b102f0c522cf ("mt76: fix array overflow on receiving too many fragments for a packet"). The vulnerability could be triggered if the modem firmware sends packets with excessive fragments. While under normal protocol conditions (MTU 3080 bytes, BAT buffer 3584 bytes), a single packet should not require additional fragments, the kernel should not blindly trust firmware behavior. Malicious, buggy, or compromised firmware could potentially craft packets with more fragments than the kernel expects. Fix this by adding a bounds check before calling skb_add_rx_frag() to ensure nr_frags does not exceed MAX_SKB_FRAGS. The check must be performed before unmapping to avoid a page leak and double DMA unmap during device teardown.
CVE-2026-23144 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/sysfs: cleanup attrs subdirs on context dir setup failure When a context DAMON sysfs directory setup is failed after setup of attrs/ directory, subdirectories of attrs/ directory are not cleaned up. As a result, DAMON sysfs interface is nearly broken until the system reboots, and the memory for the unremoved directory is leaked. Cleanup the directories under such failures.
CVE-2025-71268 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix reservation leak in some error paths when inserting inline extent If we fail to allocate a path or join a transaction, we return from __cow_file_range_inline() without freeing the reserved qgroup data, resulting in a leak. Fix this by ensuring we call btrfs_qgroup_free_data() in such cases.

CVE-2025-71190 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: bcm-sba-raid: fix device leak on probe Make sure to drop the reference taken when looking up the mailbox device during probe on probe failures and on driver unbind.
CVE-2025-71114 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: via_wdt: fix critical boot hang due to unnamed resource allocation The VIA watchdog driver uses allocate_resource() to reserve a MMIO region for the watchdog control register. However, the allocated resource was not given a name, which causes the kernel resource tree to contain an entry marked as "<BAD>" under /proc/iomem on x86 platforms. During boot, this unnamed resource can lead to a critical hang because subsequent resource lookups and conflict checks fail to handle the invalid entry properly.
CVE-2025-71097 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: Fix reference count leak when using error routes with nexthop objects When a nexthop object is deleted, it is marked as dead and then fib_table_flush() is called to flush all the routes that are using the dead nexthop. The current logic in fib_table_flush() is to only flush error routes (e.g., blackhole) when it is called as part of network namespace dismantle (i.e., with flush_all=true). Therefore, error routes are not flushed when their nexthop object is deleted: # ip link add name dummy1 up type dummy # ip nexthop add id 1 dev dummy1 # ip route add 198.51.100.1/32 nhid 1 # ip route add blackhole 198.51.100.2/32 nhid 1 # ip nexthop del id 1 # ip route show blackhole 198.51.100.2 nhid 1 dev dummy1 As such, they keep holding a reference on the nexthop object which in turn holds a reference on the nexthop device, resulting in a reference count leak: # ip link del dev dummy1 [ 70.516258] unregister_netdevice: waiting for dummy1 to become free. Usage count = 2 Fix by flushing error routes when their nexthop is marked as dead. IPv6 does not suffer from this problem.
CVE-2025-71084 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 5.5 Medium

CVE-2026-98630 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eth: fbnic: Fix payload page pool error cleanup The payload page pool pointer contains an error pointer when its allocation fails. The cleanup path passes that error pointer to page_pool_destroy() instead of destroying the header page pool. This can dereference the error pointer and leave the header page pool allocated. Destroy the header page pool instead.
CVE-2026-98598 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: Prevent rt6_insert_exception() for dying fib6_info. Before the cited commit, fib6_nh_flush_exceptions() always set from->exception_bucket_flushed = 1 under rt6_exception_lock to prevent rt6_insert_exception() from inserting a new exception for a dying fib6_info. The flag was replaced with the FIB6_EXCEPTION_BUCKET_FLUSHED bit stored in nh->rt6i_exception_bucket. The problem is that now the bit is only set when the bucket is not NULL and fib6_nh_flush_exceptions() is called from fib6_nh_release() after fib6_ref has already reached zero. If rt6_insert_exception() is called while the target fib6_info is being removed via fib6_purge_rt(), a new exception could be created successfully because rt6_flush_exceptions() no longer sets the bit. This creates a reference cycle between the fib6_info and the exception route, leaking the fib6_info, its nexthop device, and all per-CPU routes in fib6_nh->rt6i_pcpu, which stalls netdev unregistration. [ 34.680602] unregister_netdevice: waiting for gre6 to become free. Usage count = 68 [ 44.920675] unregister_netdevice: waiting for gre6 to become free. Usage count = 68 [ 55.176582] unregister_netdevice: waiting for gre6 to become free. Usage count = 68 Let's call fib6_drop_pcpu_from() before rt6_flush_exceptions(), to set fib6_destroying before rt6_exception_lock, and check f6i->fib6_destroying in rt6_insert_exception(). Note that FIB6_EXCEPTION_BUCKET_FLUSHED logic is dead and we can clean it up in net-next.
CVE-2026-109261 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-10-18 3.7 Low
ImageMagick before 6.9.13-57 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains a memory leak in the GIF encoder because allocated memory is not released when color quantization fails during encoding. Attackers can supply images whose GIF conversion causes quantization to fail, leaking memory with each attempt and degrading availability.
CVE-2026-70155 1 Microsoft 14 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows Server 2012 and 11 more 2026-10-18 7.5 High
Missing release of memory after effective lifetime in Windows DNS allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network.
CVE-2026-102081 1 Juniper Networks 1 Junos Os 2026-10-17 7.5 High
A Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a complete Denial-of-Service (DoS). On SRX4000 Series, and SRX5000 Series with SPC3, and MX Series with SPC3, when one or more specific application services like ALGs, IDP/DPI, APPID, SECINTEL, AAMW or AppQoE are configured, a high connections per second churn will cause PFE memory to leak. If the memory is exhausted traffic processing will be impacted. Use the CLI command show security monitoring to monitor the memory utilization of the PFEs on the FPCs. This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series and MX Series: * 23.4 versions from 23.4R2-S3 before 23.4R2-S7; * 24.2 versions from 24.2R2 before 24.2R2-S3; * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S3; * 25.2 versions before 25.2R1-S2, 25.2R2.
CVE-2026-102051 1 Juniper Networks 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved 2026-10-17 6.5 Medium
An Improper Release of Memory Before Removing Last Reference vulnerability in the l2cpd process of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved platforms allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to cause l2cpd memory exhaustion and Layer 2 control-plane disruption via LLDP traffic when fast receive processing is enabled.
CVE-2026-102053 1 Juniper Networks 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved 2026-10-17 5.3 Medium
An Improper Release of Memory Before Removing Last Reference vulnerability in the l2ald process of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved on QFX5K-family platforms allows a configured EVPN peer to cause a denial of service through memory exhaustion via EVPN-VXLAN active-active multihoming route processing.
CVE-2026-102032 1 Juniper Networks 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved 2026-10-16 6.5 Medium
A Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime vulnerability in the l2ald process of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service via crafted packets when the static MAC-IP feature is in use.
CVE-2026-101025 1 F5 1 Nginx Javascript 2026-10-16 5.3 Medium
Description NGINX JavaScript (njs) has a vulnerability where the built-in njs engine leaks a libxml2 parser context when xml.parse() fails. The failure path did not register cleanup and the context was not released for the lifetime of the process. An unauthenticated attacker may send requests with malformed XML and can cause unbounded memory growth in long-lived NGINX worker processes. Impact This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to send requests that trigger repeated parsing of malformed XML and may lead to NGINX worker termination or denial of service. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only.  Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
CVE-2026-74397 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/mlx5: Fix transport-domain rollback and initialize lb mutex earlier mlx5_ib_alloc_transport_domain() allocates a transport domain and then may fail in mlx5_ib_enable_lb(). In that case, the allocated TD is leaked. Fix this by deallocating the TD when mlx5_ib_enable_lb() returns an error. Also return 0 explicitly in the no-loopback-capability success branch, and move dev->lb.mutex initialization to mlx5_ib_stage_init_init().
CVE-2026-19740 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-10-16 6.5 Medium
The Link Layer Control Procedure (LLCP) implementation of the Zephyr software Bluetooth LE Controller retains the receive node that carried an accepted LL_PHY_UPDATE_IND so that it can later be reused for the host notification when the update instant is reached (llcp_rx_node_retain() in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp.c, and the node is deliberately not recycled while marked NODE_RX_TYPE_RETAIN). The invalid-PDU arms of llcp_lp_pu_rx() and llcp_rp_pu_rx() in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp_phy.c completed the procedure via llcp_lr_complete() / llcp_rr_complete() without first releasing that retained node, so the procedure context — the only remaining reference to the node — was freed while the node was still held out of the receive pool. A peer device on an established LE connection can drive this deterministically and without pairing or encryption. Against a peripheral it sends LL_PHY_REQ, receives LL_PHY_RSP, sends a valid LL_PHY_UPDATE_IND with an instant a few connection events in the future (so the node becomes retained), and then, before the instant is reached, sends any other LL Control PDU such as LL_LENGTH_REQ; ull_cp_rx() routes it to the active remote PHY Update procedure, which takes the invalid-PDU path. The mirror case applies to a locally initiated PHY Update followed by an LL_REJECT_IND. In the default configuration (CONFIG_BT_ASSERT and CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ASSERT_DEBUG both default y) the violated invariant in llcp_lr_check_done() / llcp_rr_check_done() triggers a controller assertion, ending in k_oops() (or k_panic()) — a single crafted PDU sequence from radio range faults the device. With those assertions compiled out, each attempt silently leaks one receive PDU node and its memq link; because the controller receive pool is small (PDU_RX_CNT, driven by CONFIG_BT_CTLR_RX_BUFFERS, which defaults to 1) and each attempt costs the attacker only a reconnect, a few repetitions exhaust the pool and leave Bluetooth inoperable until reboot. On releases v3.4.0 through v3.7.x the assertion is never reached, whatever the configuration, so every attempt leaks silently. The impact is limited to availability: the orphaned node leaves no dangling pointer that is later dereferenced and is never delivered to the host, so there is no memory corruption or information disclosure. The same pull request applies the identical release to the Connection Update and CIS-create procedures, whose invalid-PDU arms had the same omission.
