| Improper validation of specified type of input vulnerability in Magarsus Consulting Ltd. Co. IDM-MFA allows Authentication Bypass.
This issue affects IDM-MFA: from 2025.11.27 before 2026.03.10. |
| CImg Library is a C++ library for image processing. Prior to version 4.0.0 in `_load_analyze()`, the header_size field is read as an `unsigned int` from the first 4 bytes of an Analyze/NIfTI file and passed directly to `new unsigned char[header_size]` without being bounded against the actual file size. A value up to ~4 GB is accepted. If the subsequent `fread` returns `short` as it will for any malformed file), the function throws a `CImgIOException` and the allocated buffer is never freed. A 6-byte crafted file is sufficient to trigger an allocation of ~1.3 GB per call, with the full allocation leaked on every error path. The issue is reachable via `load_analyze()` and the generic `load()` when the file extension is .hdr, .img, or .nii. Version 4.0.0 fixes the issue. |
| Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Navigation in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass navigation restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| The Classic (BR/EDR) L2CAP signaling handlers l2cap_br_conf_req() and l2cap_br_conf_rsp() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/l2cap_br.c validated the minimum command size against buf->len (the bytes remaining in the whole received PDU) instead of len (the per-command data length from the L2CAP signaling header). Because multiple signaling commands can be packed into one PDU, buf->len may exceed a command's len. An attacker can send a CONF_REQ command with a header length smaller than the configuration-request structure (e.g. 0), followed by another command so that buf->len still satisfies the check. The check then passes incorrectly and opt_len = len - sizeof(*req) underflows the uint16_t to a near-0xFFFF value. The configuration-option loop, which lacks an opt_len-versus-buf->len guard, then walks far past the end of the pooled ACL receive buffer using net_buf pull primitives that perform no runtime bounds check, producing an out-of-bounds read of host memory and, when the out-of-bounds option bytes encode an MTU or flush-timeout option, an out-of-bounds write. The BR/EDR signaling channel is processed before pairing/encryption and an L2CAP channel to an L0 service such as SDP can be opened without pairing, so an unauthenticated peer within radio range that can establish an ACL connection can trigger the flaw, leading to memory corruption and denial of service (host/device crash). The defect is present in released versions including v4.4.0. The fix validates against len instead of buf->len in both handlers. |

| An out-of-bounds read (buffer over-read) vulnerability exists in QTextCodec::codecForName() in Qt. When the function is called with a QByteArray that is not NUL-terminated (for example, one created with QByteArray::fromRawData()), the codec-name matching routine reads past the end of the supplied buffer. In most cases this results in an incorrect text codec being selected; in the worst case, if the over-read reaches unmapped memory, the process crashes (denial of service). The over-read is bounded by the length of the longest codec-name candidate, and the out-of-bounds bytes are only compared internally against Qt's fixed list of codec names, so no data is disclosed to an attacker. Applications that do not pass non-NUL-terminated QByteArrays to QTextCodec::codecForName() are not exposed. The affected code resides in the Qt5Compat module from Qt 6.0.0 onward, and in Qt Core (qtbase) in Qt 4.x and Qt 5.x. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Shibby Tomato 1.28 RT-N5x MIPSR2 Build 124. This affects the function sub_40BB50 of the file /proc/webmon_recent_domains. The manipulation leads to stack-based buffer overflow. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. This project is superseded by FreshTomato. |

| U-Boot through 2026.04-rc3 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in tcp_rx_state_machine() (net/tcp.c) when CONFIG_PROT_TCP is enabled, allowing remote attackers to read beyond TCP segment boundaries by crafting a malicious packet with a mismatched IP total length and TCP data offset field. Attackers can send a packet with an IP total length of 40 bytes and a TCP data offset claiming 60 bytes of header to cause tcp_parse_options() to read 40 bytes past the end of the TCP segment, potentially corrupting connection state variables such as rmt_win_scale and rmt_timestamp to disrupt TCP window calculations. |
| Out-of-bounds read via sun.misc.Unsafe in Apache Fory. When out-of-band zero-copy deserialization is used, readAlignedVarUint() can read beyond the bounds of the underlying buffer. Out-of-band zero-copy deserialization is an opt-in feature; applications that do not use it are not affected.
This issue affects Apache Fory (formerly Apache Fury): from 0.5.0 before 1.4.0. Versions before 0.11.0 were published under the Maven coordinates org.apache.fury:fury-core.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.4.0, which fixes the issue. |
| xrdp is an open source RDP server. Versions 0.10.6 and prior contain a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability within the FIPS-specific receive paths. This vulnerability does not affect the default configuration of xrdp. The vulnerability is only exploitable when the security layer is set to security_layer=negotiate or security_layer=rdp, and the crypto level is changed to crypt_level=fips in xrdp.ini. In this specific non-default mode, the server fails to validate the FIPS padding length field, leading to a pointer underflow and a subsequent negative length calculation. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted FIPS-protected PDU, causing a heap out-of-bounds read that results in a process crash and denial of service (DoS). However, since xrdp forks a new process for each connection by default, an out-of-bounds read causing a process crash is unlikely to bring down the entire xrdp service. This issue has been fixed in version 0.10.6.1. |
| xrdp is an open source RDP server. Versions 0.10.6 and prior contain a vulnerability concerning the processing of Client Control PDUs. During the RDP connection sequence, the parser does not perform sufficient length validation before reading specific data fields from the network stream. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could potentially exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted, truncated Client Control PDU. Due to missing bounds checks, the xrdp process may perform out-of-bounds memory reads, which can result in the termination of the service (Denial of Service). However, since xrdp forks a new process for each connection by default, an out-of-bounds read causing a process crash is unlikely to bring down the entire xrdp service.This issue has been fixed in version 0.10.6.1. |
| FreeRDP before 3.28.0 (affected <=3.27.1) contains a heap-based buffer overflow in crypto_rsa_common() (libfreerdp/crypto/crypto.c). The function writes the modular-exponentiation result into the caller's output buffer via BN_bn2bin() and only afterward checks output_length > out_length, so out-of-bounds bytes are written before the bounds check. On the server side, when a client selects RDP Standard Security, the encrypted client random is decrypted into a fixed 32-byte buffer. Because the server publishes its RSA public key, an unauthenticated attacker can forge a ciphertext whose decrypted value is up to the full modulus length (e.g. 256 bytes for RSA-2048), overflowing the 32-byte heap buffer by up to ~224 attacker-controlled bytes pre-authentication, resulting in denial of service. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
serial: qcom_geni: fix kfifo underflow when flush precedes DMA completion IRQ
When uart_flush_buffer() runs before the DMA completion IRQ is delivered,
the following race can occur (all steps serialized by uart_port_lock):
1. DMA starts: tx_remaining = N, kfifo contains N bytes
2. DMA completes in hardware; IRQ is pending but not yet delivered
3. uart_flush_buffer() acquires the port lock and calls kfifo_reset(),
making kfifo_len() = 0 while tx_remaining remains N
4. uart_flush_buffer() releases the port lock
5. DMA IRQ fires; handle_tx_dma() acquires the port lock and calls
uart_xmit_advance(uport, tx_remaining) on an empty kfifo
uart_xmit_advance() increments kfifo->out by tx_remaining. Since
kfifo_reset() already set both in and out to 0, out wraps past in,
causing kfifo_len() to return UART_XMIT_SIZE - tx_remaining. The next
start_tx_dma() call then submits a DMA transfer of stale buffer data.
Fix this by snapshotting kfifo_len() at the start of handle_tx_dma()
and skipping uart_xmit_advance() when fifo_len < tx_remaining, which
indicates the kfifo was reset by a preceding flush. |
| A vulnerability was found in Tenda AC10 16.03.10.09_multi_TDE01. This issue affects the function fromAdvSetLanip of the file /goform/AdvSetLanip of the component httpd/netctrl. The manipulation of the argument GetValue/SetValue results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made public and could be used. |
| HDF5 is a high-performance library and a file format specification that implements the HDF5 data model. If a file is corrupted such that an array datatype's size, the number of elements, and the element size are not in agreement it can trigger an out of bounds read. The array datatype stores the full size of the datatype (`dt->shared->size`) separately from the number of elements (`dt->shared->u.array.nelem`) and the element size (`dt->shared->parent->shared->size`). If any one of these are corrupted so that they don't align with the others (element size * nelem = full size), it can lead to an out of bounds read. Depending on what is corrupted, it can alter the type of out of bounds read triggered. The vulnerability is present only in files that have been maliciously altered, as its generally not possible to independently alter the full size of the datatype, the element count and the element size. As such, this is only present if a malicious actor is altering files, and won't appear in regular usage. |
