This vulnerability affects the function Download of the file /file/download. The manipulation of the argument Name leads to path traversal. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. |
In Yonyou YonBIP v3 and before, the LoginWithV8 interface in the series data application service system is vulnerable to path traversal, allowing unauthorized access to sensitive information within the system
Console is a network used to control Gorilla Tag mods' users and other users on the network. Prior to version 2.8.0, a path traversal vulnerability exists where complicated combinations of backslashes and periods can be used to escape the Gorilla Tag path and write to unwanted directories. This issue has been patched in version 2.8.0.
PacsOne Server version 6.6.2 (prior versions are likely affected) contains a directory traversal vulnerability within the web-based DICOM viewer component. Successful exploitation allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to read arbitrary files via the 'nocache.php' endpoint with a crafted 'path' parameter. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-02 UTC.
archives is a Go library for extracting archives (tar, zip, etc.). Version 1.0.0 does not prevent a malicious user to feed a specially crafted archive to the library causing RCE, modification of files or other malignancies in the context of whatever the user is running this library as, through the program that imports it. Severity depends on user permissions, environment and how arbitrary archives are passed. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.1.
An unauthenticated directory traversal vulnerability exists in Polyaxon, affecting the latest version. This vulnerability allows an attacker to retrieve directory information and file contents from the server without proper authorization, leading to sensitive information disclosure. The issue enables access to system directories such as `/etc`, potentially resulting in significant security risks.
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. In versions from 2.9.18 to before 3.0.0, 3.2.9 to before 4.0.0, 4.5.3 to before 5.0.0, 5.2.6 to before 5.4.21, 6.0.0 to before 6.4.1, 7.0.0 to before 7.0.8, and 7.1.0 to before 7.1.11, files denied by server.fs.deny were sent if the URL ended with \ when the dev server is running on Windows. Only apps explicitly exposing the Vite dev server to the network and running the dev server on Windows were affected. This issue has been patched in versions 5.4.21, 6.4.1, 7.0.8, and 7.1.11.
A path traversal issue exists in WXR9300BE6P series firmware versions prior to Ver.1.10. Arbitrary file may be altered by an administrative user who logs in to the affected product. Moreover, arbitrary OS command may be executed via some file alteration.
A vulnerability was found in javahongxi whatsmars 2021.4.0. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function initialize of the file /whatsmars-archetypes/whatsmars-initializr/src/main/java/org/hongxi/whatsmars/initializr/controller/InitializrController.java. The manipulation of the argument artifactId leads to path traversal. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability was found in hansonwang99 Spring-Boot-In-Action up to 807fd37643aa774b94fd004cc3adbd29ca17e9aa. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function watermarkTest of the file /springbt_watermark/src/main/java/cn/codesheep/springbt_watermark/service/ImageUploadService.java of the component File Upload. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product takes the approach of rolling releases to provide continious delivery. Therefore, version details for affected and updated releases are not available. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
ITCube CRM in versions from 2023.2 through 2025.2 is vulnerable to path traversal. Unauthenticated remote attacker is able to exploit vulnerable parameter fileName and construct payloads that allow to download any file accessible by the the web server process.
astral-tokio-tar is a tar archive reading/writing library for async Rust. In versions 0.5.3 and earlier of astral-tokio-tar, tar archives may extract outside of their intended destination directory when using the Entry::unpack_in_raw API. Additionally, the Entry::allow_external_symlinks control (which defaults to true) could be bypassed via a pair of symlinks that individually point within the destination but combine to point outside of it. These behaviors could be used individually or combined to bypass the intended security control of limiting extraction to the given directory. This in turn would allow an attacker with a malicious tar archive to perform an arbitrary file write and potentially pivot into code execution. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.4. There is no workaround other than upgrading.
tar-fs provides filesystem bindings for tar-stream. Versions prior to 3.1.1, 2.1.3, and 1.16.5 are vulnerable to symlink validation bypass if the destination directory is predictable with a specific tarball. This issue has been patched in version 3.1.1, 2.1.4, and 1.16.6. A workaround involves using the ignore option on non files/directories.
Luanox is a module host for Lua packages. Prior to 0.1.1, a file traversal vulnerability can cause potential denial of service by overwriting Phoenix runtime files. Package names like ../../package are not properly filtered and pass the validity check of the rockspec verification system. This causes the uploaded file to be stored at the relative path location. If planned carefully, this could overwrite a runtime file and cause the website to crash. This vulnerability is fixed by 0.1.1.
Harness Open Source is an end-to-end developer platform with Source Control Management, CI/CD Pipelines, Hosted Developer Environments, and Artifact Registries. Prior to version 3.3.0, Open Source Harness git LFS server (Gitness) exposes api to retrieve and upload files via git LFS. Implementation of upload git LFS file api is vulnerable to arbitrary file write. Due to improper sanitization for upload path, a malicious authenticated user who has access to Harness Gitness server api can use a crafted upload request to write arbitrary file to any location on file system, may even compromise the server. Users using git LFS are vulnerable. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.0.
| CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability exists that
could cause arbitrary file reads from the charging station. The exploitation of this vulnerability does require an
authenticated session of the web server. |
CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability exists that could cause arbitrary file writes when an authenticated user on the web server manipulates file path.
dpanel is an open source server management panel written in Go. In versions 1.2.0 through 1.7.2, dpanel allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files from the server via the /api/app/compose/get-from-uri API endpoint. The vulnerability exists in the GetFromUri function in app/application/http/controller/compose.go, where the uri parameter is passed directly to os.ReadFile without proper validation or access control. A logged-in attacker can exploit this flaw to read sensitive files from the host system, leading to information disclosure. No patched version is available as of this writing.
kotaemon is an open-source RAG-based tool for document comprehension. From versions 0.10.6 and prior, in libs/ktem/ktem/index/file/ui.py, the index_fn method accepts both URLs and local file paths without validation. The pipeline streams these paths directly and stores them, enabling attackers to traverse directories (e.g. ../../../../../.env) and exfiltrate sensitive files. This issue has been patched via commit 37cdc28, in version 0.10.7 which has not been made public at time of publication.
Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM contains a Secondary Context Path Traversal Vulnerability. A malicious actor may be able to gain access to sensitive information by sending crafted GET requests (read-only) to restricted API endpoints.
