CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: af_alg - zero initialize memory allocated via sock_kmalloc
Several crypto user API contexts and requests allocated with
sock_kmalloc() were left uninitialized, relying on callers to
set fields explicitly. This resulted in the use of uninitialized
data in certain error paths or when new fields are added in the
future.
The ACVP patches also contain two user-space interface files:
algif_kpp.c and algif_akcipher.c. These too rely on proper
initialization of their context structures.
A particular issue has been observed with the newly added
'inflight' variable introduced in af_alg_ctx by commit:
67b164a871af ("crypto: af_alg - Disallow multiple in-flight AIO requests")
Because the context is not memset to zero after allocation,
the inflight variable has contained garbage values. As a result,
af_alg_alloc_areq() has incorrectly returned -EBUSY randomly when
the garbage value was interpreted as true:
https://github.com/gregkh/linux/blame/master/crypto/af_alg.c#L1209
The check directly tests ctx->inflight without explicitly
comparing against true/false. Since inflight is only ever set to
true or false later, an uninitialized value has triggered
-EBUSY failures. Zero-initializing memory allocated with
sock_kmalloc() ensures inflight and other fields start in a known
state, removing random issues caused by uninitialized data. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6_gre: make ip6gre_header() robust
Over the years, syzbot found many ways to crash the kernel
in ip6gre_header() [1].
This involves team or bonding drivers ability to dynamically
change their dev->needed_headroom and/or dev->hard_header_len
In this particular crash mld_newpack() allocated an skb
with a too small reserve/headroom, and by the time mld_sendpack()
was called, syzbot managed to attach an ip6gre device.

| A security vulnerability has been detected in michaelrsweet mxml 4.0.5/4.0.6. This affects the function mxml_load_data of the file mxml-file.c. The manipulation leads to use after free. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Artifex MuPDF up to 1.28.5. This impacts the function free_char_list of the file source/pdf/pdf-xref.c of the component Signature Locking. Performing a manipulation results in double free. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The patch is named 3984925b660afb8a781ddf504021e91be1bc671e. To fix this issue, it is recommended to deploy a patch. |
| A flaw was found in Lighthouse. A remote attacker, by compromising a spoke cluster, can exploit a vulnerability where the destination namespace for resource injection is derived from an attacker-controlled label or annotation on the broker object. This allows the attacker to inject unauthorized EndpointSlices and ServiceImports into any namespace on peer clusters, including critical system namespaces like kube-system and openshift-*. This could lead to privilege escalation or other forms of system compromise within the cluster. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dm-pcache: reject a kset that overruns its segment
cache_replay(), the writeback worker and the GC worker read a kset of
get_kset_onmedia_size() bytes and advance the position by it. A forged
key_num makes that size exceed the segment's remaining space, so the
advance walks past the segment and trips the cache_pos_advance() BUG_ON.
Reject a kset whose on-media size exceeds cache_seg_remain() before use. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: stmmac: fix rx Scatter-Gather support
When a received frame is larger than dma_buf_sz, the DMA scatters it
across multiple RX descriptors (rx Scatter-Gather). The secondary RX
buffer (sec_page) was only allocated and programmed when split-header
(SPH) was active, so for regular frames buffer2 was neither allocated
nor backed by a valid mapping. As soon as an incoming frame overflowed
buffer1, the DMA wrote the overflow into the unmapped secondary-buffer
address, triggering an SMMU translation fault on IOMMU-based platforms:
arm-smmu 15000000.iommu: Unhandled context fault: fsr=0x402, iova=0x00000000, fsynr=0x7f0011, cbfrsynra=0x1c90, cb=11
arm-smmu 15000000.iommu: FSR = 00000402 [Format=2 TF], SID=0x1c90
arm-smmu 15000000.iommu: FSYNR0 = 007f0011 [S1CBNDX=127 WNR PLVL=1]
Enable scatter-gather for non-SPH frames on cores that can program an
independent secondary RX buffer (GMAC4/XGMAC): allocate and mark buffer2
as valid in stmmac_init_rx_buffers() and stmmac_rx_refill(), and account
for it in the buffer length computation. Legacy cores have no set_sec_addr
op, so they keep buffer2 disabled.
Since buffer2 is handed to the DMA at page offset 0, the page pool sync
window is widened to cover both buffers in every mode: offset is set to 0
and max_len to dma_buf_sz + stmmac_rx_offset().
The FCS can straddle the buffer1/buffer2 boundary and a descriptor
boundary, so it is now stripped from the tail of the assembled frame with
pskb_trim() instead of from a single buffer, avoiding an unsigned underflow
for frames that overflow a buffer by 1..3 bytes. For single-buffer frames
the XDP program must not see the FCS, so it is removed from the XDP buffer
before the program runs.
Native XDP currently only supports single-buffer (linear) frames. An
oversized frame accepted by the MAC (jumbo enabled) is received via
buffer2; the XDP program only sees buffer1, so on a TX/REDIRECT verdict
the frame is forwarded truncated. XDP multi-buffer support to handle
this case is planned as a follow-up.
AF_XDP zero-copy RX is not covered by this change: a ZC queue still
programs buffer2 at DMA address 0 (and XGMAC has no buffer2-valid bit),
so an oversized frame overflowing buffer1 can still trigger the same
SMMU translation fault. Handling is planned as a follow-up. |
| A flaw has been found in ztxz16 fastllm up to 1.8.2. Affected by this issue is the function SafeTensorItem::CreateBuffer of the file src/model.cpp of the component Safetensors Weight Loading. This manipulation of the argument data_offsets causes buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop DNS 9.2.3 Non Secure Version could cause a Denial of Service. |
| BottleCRM 0.30 through 1.14.5 contains an HTML injection vulnerability in render_invoice_template() that allows authenticated organization members to inject markup into custom-template invoice PDFs. Attackers can place HTML and CSS in notes, terms, client name or address fields to overlay totals, payee and payment instructions in PDFs served via download, public links and emails. |
| holaOS through 2026.822.1 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in channel-gateway connectors that allows any messaging-platform user to submit agent tasks because the #isAllowed check accepts all senders when the default allowFrom list is empty. Attackers who can message the operator's Telegram, Slack, Discord, or other bot can have ChannelIngress.handle pass turns to the workspace agent, running configured tools on the operator's machine. |
| : Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer vulnerability in Unitronics Unitronics UniStream Pro/UniLogic.
This issue affects Unitronics UniStream Pro/UniLogic: Unitronics UniStream Pro versions only (B10 / C10) – UniLogic versions prior to 1.41.329. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: usb: sr9700: include receive overhead in the length check
The receive fixup subtracts the Ethernet CRC from the reported packet
length, but compares that payload length against the whole remaining
receive buffer. The following copy starts after the three-byte header,
and the cursor advance consumes both that header and the four-byte CRC.
Require the payload to fit after SR_RX_OVERHEAD before copying it or
advancing to the next packet. The loop already ensures that the
remaining buffer is larger than the overhead, so the subtraction is
safe.
The issue was found by our static-analysis tool. |
