CVSS v3.1 |
| In Qt for MCUs, a Text element that displays styled text halts the device if an <img> tag in the text contains an attribute with an empty value. The text parser passes the empty value to an internal check that only accepts non-empty values. The check fails and reports an error, and the default error handler halts the device. |
| The WebSocket backend uses charging station identifiers to uniquely associate sessions but allows multiple endpoints to connect using the same session identifier. This implementation results in predictable session identifiers. This vulnerability may allow unauthorized users to authenticate as other users or enable a malicious actor to cause a denial-of-service condition by overwhelming the backend with valid session requests. |
| A flaw was found in ModemManager. When parsing a Cell Broadcast Message, some 3GPP data-coding-scheme values (8-bit and reserved character sets) are not handled. The process hits a reachable assertion and aborts. An attacker who can deliver a crafted Cell Broadcast PDU over the radio network, or via a modem AT channel, can cause ModemManager to exit. Repeated aborts can exhaust systemd's default start limit and leave the service failed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Reject non-scalar bpf_loop iteration counts
bpf_loop() declares its nr_loops argument as ARG_ANYTHING. Privileged
programs may pass pointer values to such arguments, so check_func_arg()
lets a pointer-valued R1 reach the helper-specific checks.
Since commit bb124da69c47 ("bpf: keep track of max number of bpf_loop
callback iterations"), the verifier marks R1 precise and reads its upper
bound to limit callback simulation. Precision backtracking only accepts
scalar registers, so passing a pointer instead triggers the "backtracking
misuse" verifier warning. Kernels with panic_on_warn enabled subsequently
panic.
Introduce ARG_SCALAR for helper arguments that only accept scalar values
and use it for bpf_loop() nr_loops. Generic helper argument validation then
rejects pointers before loop inlining and precision processing. |

This is a consequence of commit 0fe77e57588b98, which added the
following assertion to xfs_da_grow_inode_int:
ASSERT(args->total >= dp->i_nblocks - nblks);
Tracing this back to xrep_dir_swap_prep, I noticed that the xfs_da_args
object that's passed to xfs_dir2_sf_to_block sets args->total to 1.
This is incorrect because mkfs set the directory block size to 8k and
the filesystem block size to 4k. In other words, args->total should be
2 here, not 1.
Dave Chinner tripped over the same problem with the same branch through
a different channel -- his test setup set the fs block size to 1k, in
which case the directory block size is still set to 4k. Here,
args->total should be 4.
Changing the assignment of args->total to sc->mp->m_dir_geo->fsbcount
makes the assertion go away, but that isn't a complete fix. In
xrep_tempexch_estimate, we also incorrectly assume that a shortform
conversion requires 1 fsblock when it should be m_dir_geo->fsbcount.
Without that, we can under-reserve space in the transaction and cause a
filesystem shutdown.
Note that the xfs_dabuf_nfsb helper will compute the correct value for
directories and xattr, so we use that instead of open-coding the logic.
Also fix xrep_xattr_swap_prep to assign args->total via xfs_dabuf_nfsb
to avoid one logic bomb if we ever support multi-fsblock attrs.

| ZcashFoundation Zebra zebra-rpc before 8.0.0 and zebrad before 4.5.0 contain a reachable assertion in the z_listunifiedreceivers RPC handler, which calls expect() on Sapling receiver parsing that fails for Unified Addresses carrying invalid Jubjub points. Authenticated RPC clients can submit such an address to abort the zebrad process, repeatably keeping the node offline. |
| YesWiki before 4.6.7 contains an insufficient session expiration vulnerability that allows attackers to reuse old password reset links because tokens lack expiry timestamps. Attackers who obtain an unused reset URL from mailboxes, logs, backups, or browser history can submit a new password through checkEmailKey() and take over accounts. |
| Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference in the XSLT support extension (camel-quarkus-support-xalan) in Apache Camel Quarkus from 3.2.0 before 3.33.3 and from 3.34.0 before 3.40.0 on all platforms allows an attacker who supplies the XML document being transformed to read local files or issue requests to internal network locations via an external entity declaration in that document.
The extension supplies its own Xalan-backed TransformerFactory to the xslt component and registers it as the JAXP default. Xalan-J 2.7.x predates JAXP 1.5 and does not honour javax.xml.XMLConstants.ACCESS_EXTERNAL_DTD or ACCESS_EXTERNAL_STYLESHEET, so the external access restrictions Apache Camel applies to the TransformerFactory it creates were not in effect. On the xslt component path this affects message bodies that reach the transformer already as a javax.xml.transform.Source; bodies of other types are converted to a SAXSource by Apache Camel with external entities and external DTD loading disabled, and are not affected. Because the factory is also the JAXP default, other code in the application obtaining one through TransformerFactory.newInstance() loses the same restrictions without error.
Applications are affected if they use any of camel-quarkus-xslt, camel-quarkus-xslt-saxon, camel-quarkus-tika or camel-quarkus-xmlsecurity, each of which brings the XSLT support extension onto the classpath. For all but camel-quarkus-xslt, the exposure is limited to the JAXP default factory, since those extensions do not perform XSLT transformations themselves.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.33.3 or 3.40.0, which fixes this issue. |
| SOUND4 IMPACT/FIRST/PULSE/Eco versions 2.x and below contain an insufficient session expiration vulnerability that allows attackers to reuse old session credentials. Attackers can exploit weak session management to potentially hijack active user sessions and gain unauthorized access to the application. |
| iControl is affected by a Missing Secure Attribute vulnerability, which could allow an attacker to intercept cookies transmitted over unencrypted HTTP connections, enabling the unauthorized extraction of sensitive information such as session identifiers. |
| iControl is affected by a Session Timeout vulnerability, which could allow an attacker to exploit an unattended or abandoned active session, enabling unauthorized access to the application and the ability to perform actions on behalf of the victim. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
perf/ftrace: Fix WARNING in __unregister_ftrace_function
perf_ftrace_function_unregister() unconditionally calls
unregister_ftrace_function() without checking whether the ftrace_ops
was ever successfully registered. This triggers a WARN_ON in
__unregister_ftrace_function() when the ops doesn't have
FTRACE_OPS_FL_ENABLED set.
This can happen during perf_event_alloc() error cleanup when
perf_trace_destroy() is called via __free_event() on an event whose
ftrace_ops registration failed or was already torn down by
perf_try_init_event()'s err_destroy path.
The call path is:
perf_event_alloc() error cleanup
-> __free_event()
-> event->destroy() [tp_perf_event_destroy]
-> perf_trace_destroy()
-> perf_trace_event_close()
-> TRACE_REG_PERF_CLOSE
-> perf_ftrace_function_unregister()
-> unregister_ftrace_function()
-> __unregister_ftrace_function()
-> WARN_ON(!(ops->flags & FTRACE_OPS_FL_ENABLED))
Fix this by checking FTRACE_OPS_FL_ENABLED before attempting to
unregister. If the ops is not enabled, just free the filter and
return success. |
| FileRise before version 3.28.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated low-privilege attackers to gain unauthorized read and write access by exploiting improper session isolation between the WebDAV interface and the web application session context. Attackers can combine valid Basic-Auth credentials with an active admin PHPSESSID cookie to bypass authorization boundaries, as the WebDAV layer incorrectly inherits elevated privileges from an ambient web session rather than enforcing independent stateless authentication per RFC 4918. |
| Datasets through 5.00, fixed in commit ad2d853, contains a symlink-following vulnerability in Extractor.extract() that allows local attackers to write arbitrary files by pre-planting symlinks at predictable output paths. Attackers can redirect archive extraction to arbitrary filesystem locations in shared-cache environments, enabling overwrite of sensitive files and potential privilege escalation or code execution. |
