CVSS v3.1 |
| ppd in Reliant Sinix allows local users to corrupt arbitrary files via a symlink attack in the /tmp/ppd.trace file. |
| FTP servers can allow an attacker to connect to arbitrary ports on machines other than the FTP client, aka FTP bounce. |
| DB4Web server, when configured to use verbose debug messages, allows remote attackers to use DB4Web as a proxy and attempt TCP connections to other systems (port scan) via a request for a URL that specifies the target IP address and port, which produces a connection status in the resulting error message. |
| The management interface for Siemens SANTIS 50 running firmware 4.2.8.0, and possibly other products including Ericsson HN294dp and Dynalink RTA300W, allows remote attackers to access the Telnet port without authentication via certain packets to the web interface that cause the interface to freeze. |
| Siemens 3568i WAP mobile phones allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via an SMS message containing unusual characters. |
| GUI overlay vulnerability in the Java API in Siemens S55 cellular phones allows remote attackers to send unauthorized SMS messages by overlaying a confirmation message with a malicious message. |
| Buffer overflow in the web administration service for the HiNet LP5100 IP-phone allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary commands via a long GET request. |
| Buffer overflow in Siemens 45 series mobile phones allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (disconnect and unavailable inbox) via a Short Message Service (SMS) message with a long image name. |
| OpenSSH-portable (OpenSSH) 3.6.1p1 and earlier with PAM support enabled immediately sends an error message when a user does not exist, which allows remote attackers to determine valid usernames via a timing attack. |
| Siemens SpeedStream 2624 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (device hang) by sending a crafted packet to the web administrative interface. |
| Reliant Unix 5.44 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via an ICMP port unreachable packet, which causes Reliant to drop all connections to the source address of the packet. |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 is vulnerable to a heap buffer out-of-bounds read. The function handling incoming NTLM type-2 messages (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:ntlm_decode_type2_target`) does not validate incoming data correctly and is subject to an integer overflow vulnerability. Using that overflow, a malicious or broken NTLM server could trick libcurl to accept a bad length + offset combination that would lead to a buffer read out-of-bounds. |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function creating an outgoing NTLM type-3 header (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:Curl_auth_create_ntlm_type3_message()`), generates the request HTTP header contents based on previously received data. The check that exists to prevent the local buffer from getting overflowed is implemented wrongly (using unsigned math) and as such it does not prevent the overflow from happening. This output data can grow larger than the local buffer if very large 'nt response' data is extracted from a previous NTLMv2 header provided by the malicious or broken HTTP server. Such a 'large value' needs to be around 1000 bytes or more. The actual payload data copied to the target buffer comes from the NTLMv2 type-2 response header. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SINEC NMS (All versions < V4.0 SP3), User Management Component (UMC) (All versions < V2.15.2.1). The affected application permits improper modification of a configuration file by a low-privileged user.
This could allow an attacker to load malicious DLLs, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privileges.(ZDI-CAN-28108) |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.1 (All versions < V9.1 SP2 UC04), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V17 (All versions < V17 Update 8), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V18 (All versions < V18 Update 4), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V19 (All versions < V19 Update 1), SIMATIC WinCC V7.5 (All versions < V7.5 SP2 Update 16), SIMATIC WinCC V8.0 (All versions < V8.0 Update 5). The affected products do not properly validate the input provided in the login dialog box. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to cause a persistent denial of service condition. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2302 (All versions < V2302.0011). The affected application contains an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing a specially crafted MODEL file. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-22974) |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Altair Grid Engine (All versions < V2026.0.0). Affected products do not properly validate environment variables when loading shared libraries, allowing path hijacking through malicious library substitution.
This could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code with superuser privileges by manipulating the environment variable and placing a malicious library in the controlled path. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC IPC DiagBase (All versions), SIMATIC IPC DiagMonitor (All versions). The affected device do not properly restrict the user permission for the registry key. This could allow an authenticated attacker to load vulnerable drivers into the system leading to privilege escalation or bypassing endpoint protection and other security measures. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in APOGEE PXC Series (BACnet) (All versions), APOGEE PXC Series (P2 Ethernet) (All versions), TALON TC Series (BACnet) (All versions). Affected devices connected to the network allow unrestricted access to sensitive files, such as databases. This could allow an attacker to download encrypted .db file containing passwords. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM ROX MX5000 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX MX5000RE (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1400 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1500 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1501 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1510 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1511 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1512 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1524 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX1536 (All versions), RUGGEDCOM ROX RX5000 (All versions). Affected devices do not properly limit access through its Built-In-Self-Test (BIST) mode.
This could allow an attacker with physical access to the serial interface to bypass authentication and get access to a root shell on the device. |
