CVE-2025-71124 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/a6xx: move preempt_prepare_postamble after error check Move the call to preempt_prepare_postamble() after verifying that preempt_postamble_ptr is valid. If preempt_postamble_ptr is NULL, dereferencing it in preempt_prepare_postamble() would lead to a crash. This change avoids calling the preparation function when the postamble allocation has failed, preventing potential NULL pointer dereference and ensuring proper error handling. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/687659/
CVE-2025-71135 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid5: fix possible null-pointer dereferences in raid5_store_group_thread_cnt() The variable mddev->private is first assigned to conf and then checked: conf = mddev->private; if (!conf) ... If conf is NULL, then mddev->private is also NULL. In this case, null-pointer dereferences can occur when calling raid5_quiesce(): raid5_quiesce(mddev, true); raid5_quiesce(mddev, false); since mddev->private is assigned to conf again in raid5_quiesce(), and conf is dereferenced in several places, for example: conf->quiesce = 0; wake_up(&conf->wait_for_quiescent); To fix this issue, the function should unlock mddev and return before invoking raid5_quiesce() when conf is NULL, following the existing pattern in raid5_change_consistency_policy().
CVE-2026-26828 1 Owntone 1 Owntone-server 2026-03-25 7.5 High
A NULL pointer dereference in the daap_reply_playlists function (src/httpd_daap.c) of owntone-server commit 3d1652d allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via sending a crafted DAAP request to the server
CVE-2026-26829 1 Owntone 1 Owntone-server 2026-03-25 7.5 High
A NULL pointer dereference in the safe_atou64 function (src/misc.c) of owntone-server through commit c4d57aa allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via sending a series of crafted HTTP requests to the server.
CVE-2026-33164 1 Struktur 1 Libde265 2026-03-25 7.5 High
libde265 is an open source implementation of the h.265 video codec. Prior to version 1.0.17, a malformed H.265 PPS NAL unit causes a segmentation fault in pic_parameter_set::set_derived_values(). This issue has been patched in version 1.0.17.
CVE-2026-33064 1 Free5gc 2 Free5gc, Udm 2026-03-25 7.5 High
Free5GC is an open-source Linux Foundation project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks. Versions prior to 1.4.2 are vulnerable to procedure panic caused by Nil Pointer Dereference in the /sdm-subscriptions endpoint. A remote attacker can cause the UDM service to panic and crash by sending a crafted POST request to the /sdm-subscriptions endpoint with a malformed URL path containing path traversal sequences (../) and a large JSON payload. The DataChangeNotificationProcedure function in notifier.go attempts to access a nil pointer without proper validation, causing a complete service crash with "runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference". Exploitation would result in UDM functionality disruption until recovery by restart. This issue has been fixed in version 1.4.2.
CVE-2026-31964 2 Htslib, Samtools 2 Htslib, Htslib 2026-03-25 7.5 High
HTSlib is a library for reading and writing bioinformatics file formats. CRAM is a compressed format which stores DNA sequence alignment data using a variety of encodings and compression methods. While most alignment records store DNA sequence and quality values, the format also allows them to omit this data in certain cases to save space. Due to some quirks of the CRAM format, it is necessary to handle these records carefully as they will actually store data that needs to be consumed and then discarded. Unfortunately the `CONST`, `XPACK` and `XRLE` encodings did not properly implement the interface needed to do this. Trying to decode records with omitted sequence or quality data using these encodings would result in an attempt to write to a NULL pointer. Exploiting this bug causes a NULL pointer dereference. Typically this will cause the program to crash. Versions 1.23.1, 1.22.2 and 1.21.1 include fixes for this issue. There is no workaround for this issue.
CVE-2026-31973 1 Samtools 1 Samtools 2026-03-25 7.5 High
SAMtools is a program for reading, manipulating and writing bioinformatics file formats. Starting in version 1.17, in the cram-size command, used to write information about how well CRAM files are compressed, a check to see if the `cram_decode_compression_header()` was missing. If the function returned an error, this could lead to a NULL pointer dereference. Exploiting this bug causes a NULL pointer dereference. Typically this will cause the program to crash. Versions 1.23.1, 1.22.2 and 1.21.1 include fixes for this issue. There is no workaround for this issue.
CVE-2024-46691 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: ucsi: Move unregister out of atomic section Commit '9329933699b3 ("soc: qcom: pmic_glink: Make client-lock non-sleeping")' moved the pmic_glink client list under a spinlock, as it is accessed by the rpmsg/glink callback, which in turn is invoked from IRQ context. This means that ucsi_unregister() is now called from atomic context, which isn't feasible as it's expecting a sleepable context. An effort is under way to get GLINK to invoke its callbacks in a sleepable context, but until then lets schedule the unregistration. A side effect of this is that ucsi_unregister() can now happen after the remote processor, and thereby the communication link with it, is gone. pmic_glink_send() is amended with a check to avoid the resulting NULL pointer dereference. This does however result in the user being informed about this error by the following entry in the kernel log: ucsi_glink.pmic_glink_ucsi pmic_glink.ucsi.0: failed to send UCSI write request: -5
CVE-2024-43826 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfs: pass explicit offset/count to trace events nfs_folio_length is unsafe to use without having the folio locked and a check for a NULL ->f_mapping that protects against truncations and can lead to kernel crashes. E.g. when running xfstests generic/065 with all nfs trace points enabled. Follow the model of the XFS trace points and pass in an explіcit offset and length. This has the additional benefit that these values can be more accurate as some of the users touch partial folio ranges.
CVE-2023-53228 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: drop redundant sched job cleanup when cs is aborted Once command submission failed due to userptr invalidation in amdgpu_cs_submit, legacy code will perform cleanup of scheduler job. However, it's not needed at all, as former commit has integrated job cleanup stuff into amdgpu_job_free. Otherwise, because of double free, a NULL pointer dereference will occur in such scenario. Bug: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/2457
CVE-2025-39937 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: rfkill: gpio: Fix crash due to dereferencering uninitialized pointer Since commit 7d5e9737efda ("net: rfkill: gpio: get the name and type from device property") rfkill_find_type() gets called with the possibly uninitialized "const char *type_name;" local variable. On x86 systems when rfkill-gpio binds to a "BCM4752" or "LNV4752" acpi_device, the rfkill->type is set based on the ACPI acpi_device_id: rfkill->type = (unsigned)id->driver_data; and there is no "type" property so device_property_read_string() will fail and leave type_name uninitialized, leading to a potential crash. rfkill_find_type() does accept a NULL pointer, fix the potential crash by initializing type_name to NULL. Note likely sofar this has not been caught because: 1. Not many x86 machines actually have a "BCM4752"/"LNV4752" acpi_device 2. The stack happened to contain NULL where type_name is stored
CVE-2023-53534 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/mediatek: mtk_drm_crtc: Add checks for devm_kcalloc As the devm_kcalloc may return NULL, the return value needs to be checked to avoid NULL poineter dereference.
CVE-2022-50506 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drbd: only clone bio if we have a backing device Commit c347a787e34cb (drbd: set ->bi_bdev in drbd_req_new) moved a bio_set_dev call (which has since been removed) to "earlier", from drbd_request_prepare to drbd_req_new. The problem is that this accesses device->ldev->backing_bdev, which is not NULL-checked at this point. When we don't have an ldev (i.e. when the DRBD device is diskless), this leads to a null pointer deref. So, only allocate the private_bio if we actually have a disk. This is also a small optimization, since we don't clone the bio to only to immediately free it again in the diskless case.
CVE-2026-32776 1 Libexpat Project 1 Libexpat 2026-03-24 4 Medium
libexpat before 2.7.5 allows a NULL pointer dereference with empty external parameter entity content.
CVE-2026-32778 1 Libexpat Project 1 Libexpat 2026-03-24 2.9 Low
libexpat before 2.7.5 allows a NULL pointer dereference in the function setContext on retry after an earlier ouf-of-memory condition.
CVE-2023-53576 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-03-23 5.5 Medium
