CVE-2026-110777 3 Gnome, Red Hat, Redhat 3 Evolution-data-server, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-23 5.7 Medium
A flaw was found in evolution-data-server. Calendar events containing a file:// URI in their ATTACH property automatically read the targeted local file, base64-encode its contents and upload it back to the server when the event is saved. There are no file path restrictions or checks to verify whether the attachment originally came from the server or was added locally. This allows an attacker with access to a shared CalDAV calendar to exfiltrate arbitrary files the user has access to when interacting with malicious calendar events.
CVE-2026-2604 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution-data-server, Enterprise Linux 2026-09-25 5.6 Medium
A flaw was found in evolution-data-server. Inconsistent comparison logic in the addressbook file backend allows a Flatpak application with D-Bus access to craft a malicious URI containing directory traversal sequences. This URI is stored without proper validation during contact creation or modification. Later, during contact deletion, the URI is processed with a less strict check, leading to the deletion of arbitrary files on the host filesystem. This could potentially include critical Flatpak override files.
CVE-2009-1631 1 Gnome 1 Evolution 2026-04-23 N/A
The Mailer component in Evolution 2.26.1 and earlier uses world-readable permissions for the .evolution directory, and certain directories and files under .evolution/ related to local mail, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information by reading these files.
CVE-2009-2404 5 Aol, Gnome, Mozilla and 2 more 9 Instant Messenger, Evolution, Firefox and 6 more 2026-04-23 N/A
Heap-based buffer overflow in a regular-expression parser in Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) before 3.12.3, as used in Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Evolution, Pidgin, and AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), allows remote SSL servers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a long domain name in the subject's Common Name (CN) field of an X.509 certificate, related to the cert_TestHostName function.
CVE-2007-1266 1 Gnome 1 Evolution 2026-04-23 N/A
Evolution 2.8.1 and earlier does not properly use the --status-fd argument when invoking GnuPG, which prevents Evolution from visually distinguishing between signed and unsigned portions of OpenPGP messages with multiple components, which allows remote attackers to forge the contents of a message without detection.
CVE-2007-3257 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
Camel (camel-imap-folder.c) in the mailer component for Evolution Data Server 1.11 allows remote IMAP servers to execute arbitrary code via a negative SEQUENCE value in GData, which is used as an array index.
CVE-2008-0072 3 Gnome, Linux, Redhat 4 Evolution, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-04-23 N/A
Format string vulnerability in the emf_multipart_encrypted function in mail/em-format.c in Evolution 2.12.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted encrypted message, as demonstrated using the Version field.
CVE-2008-1109 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
Heap-based buffer overflow in Evolution 2.22.1 allows user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long DESCRIPTION property in an iCalendar attachment, which is not properly handled during a reply in the calendar view (aka the Calendars window).
CVE-2008-1108 2 Gnome, Redhat 3 Evolution, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-04-23 N/A
Buffer overflow in Evolution 2.22.1, when the ITip Formatter plugin is disabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long timezone string in an iCalendar attachment.
CVE-2009-0582 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution-data-server, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
The ntlm_challenge function in the NTLM SASL authentication mechanism in camel/camel-sasl-ntlm.c in Camel in Evolution Data Server (aka evolution-data-server) 2.24.5 and earlier, and 2.25.92 and earlier 2.25.x versions, does not validate whether a certain length value is consistent with the amount of data in a challenge packet, which allows remote mail servers to read information from the process memory of a client, or cause a denial of service (client crash), via an NTLM authentication type 2 packet with a length value that exceeds the amount of packet data.
CVE-2005-0102 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Evolution, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 9.8 Critical
Integer overflow in camel-lock-helper in Evolution 2.0.2 and earlier allows local users or remote malicious POP3 servers to execute arbitrary code via a length value of -1, which leads to a zero byte memory allocation and a buffer overflow.
CVE-2005-2549 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
Multiple format string vulnerabilities in Evolution 1.5 through 2.3.6.1 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via (1) full vCard data, (2) contact data from remote LDAP servers, or (3) task list data from remote servers.
CVE-2005-2550 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
Format string vulnerability in Evolution 1.4 through 2.3.6.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via the calendar entries such as task lists, which are not properly handled when the user selects the Calendars tab.
CVE-2006-0040 1 Gnome 1 Evolution 2026-04-16 N/A
GNOME Evolution 2.4.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU and memory consumption) via a text e-mail with a large number of URLs, possibly due to unknown problems in gtkhtml.
CVE-2006-0528 1 Gnome 1 Evolution 2026-04-16 N/A
The cairo library (libcairo), as used in GNOME Evolution and possibly other products, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (persistent client crash) via an attached text file that contains "Content-Disposition: inline" in the header, and a very long line in the body, which causes the client to repeatedly crash until the e-mail message is manually removed, possibly due to a buffer overflow, as demonstrated using an XML attachment.
CVE-2006-2789 1 Gnome 1 Evolution 2026-04-16 N/A
Evolution 2.2.x and 2.3.x in GNOME 2.7 and 2.8, when "load images if sender in addressbook" is enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (persistent crash) via a crafted "From" header that triggers an assert error in camel-internet-address.c when a null pointer is used.
CVE-2011-3201 3 Gnome, Oracle, Redhat 6 Evolution, Solaris, Enterprise Linux and 3 more 2025-04-11 N/A
